Yaya is from Tokyo, Japan and New York City. Her ambition is for total women's health and beauty which continues to evolve. She has worked at several salons / spas over many years in both Japan and NYC.
She has a constant passion for learning and enhancing her skillset. Yaya is always advancing her education and keeping up with new advances in skincare and beauty. One of her goals is to educate clients on how to protect their skin and to implement daily beauty routines. She received PCA Professional Peel Certification.
Her passion is to express beauty and health through her services, her mission is to help clients improve not only skin, but also mental, physical health and beauty.
As a woman and a mother, she believes that taking care of one-self makes one-feel centered and more confident.
She created Yayaskin Studio as a place where clients can feel relaxed and distressed from reality.
At Yayaskin studio, You can take a break from your busy life, as a parent, as a busy working professional, hard working student, to “pamper yourself”, through calm soothing music, soothing touch and aromatic scent in a serene environment. Self-care is very important.
Meet Our Team
Mary is thrilled to be here! A few years ago, I was miserable in a desk job. I reflected and left the desk job and found the field of esthetics!
She has ten years of experience in make-up! I have taken workshops and classes with make-up artists (MUAs) that have worked with Rochester’s own Fashion Week and New York City’s Fashion Week and on TV and movie sets in NYC, such as MUA Lori Hogg and Victoria Smith. She enjoys pampering women and helping them feel their best selfs on a big day like prom day or their wedding day! Mary is confident in both traditional foundation application as well as airbrush foundation application.
Specializing in classic lash extensions, lash lifts and organic facials, and also enjoys different types of lash extensions, waxing, including Brazilian waxing.
She feels fortunate to the opportunity to work with Yaya! Yaya is very kind, and willing to offer support and guidance.

Ben
Ben is a Licensed Massage Therapist and has been practicing in the state of New York for the past 12 years. He primarily performs a therapeutic Swedish style of massage and incorporates various techniques from other modalities that he has studied over the years depending on what he feels is appropriate for each individual client.
The techniques he most often utilizes come from Swedish massage, but also often uses Orthopedic massage techniques and stretches for pain relief and posture correction.
I think my love affair with skincare started at a very early age. My father used to let me sit on the sink and watch him shave. Afterwards, he’d draw funny designs in his shaving cream to make me laugh. The scent of his after shave and pine cologne, cologne he could only get in Italy, still linger in my memory.
My mom and her Oil of Olay rituals in the morning and night were mesmerizing to me. These moments taught me the importance of properly cleansing, toning, and hydrating the skin.
Through my own experience in learning and working to nurture my body, my desire to create a skincare line grew.
Mimo7 is the manifestation of that goal. With organic ingredients and essential oils our Mother Earth has provided, my new desire is for each product to transcend the artificial world we’re walking into. To remind us that the earth we live on is not to be taken for granted, and can continue to provide for us as she always has, so long as we reciprocate that care.
